Compensation: $75,000 to $85,000

Description of Company: Our client, a retail company with office in Boca Raton but headquarters in the Northeast, is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their Accounting Department. Our client is well-established in the industry yet growing rapidly.

Position Overview

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing the day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting for multiple entities. This position involves close collaboration with investment and operations teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and financial reporting. The role offers opportunities for professional growth and leadership within a dynamic and expanding retail company.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Finance and Operations teams daily to ensure the accuracy of accounting books.
• Monitor all accounts and analyze related performance to support decision-making.
• Manage accounting processes and prepare/approve quarterly financial reports, compliance, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
• Research and propose accounting guidance to facilitate discussions and conclusions with team members.
• Prepare analyses or responses to address requests from vendors, locations, and partners.
• Participate in special projects as needed.

Required Experience/Skills
