Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2+ years of experience in a Staff Accountant role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of GAAP required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (ERP).
• Experience with inventory accounting and cost accounting principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank statements and balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries with accuracy and GAAP compliance.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Support inventory costing and analysis, including variance explanations and cycle counts.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, such as expense reports and production cost summaries.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
• Maintain fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, and depreciation calculations.
