Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a stable, growing client in the Oklahoma City area to fill a Staff Accountant role supporting financial reporting and month-end processes. This onsite position offers exposure to complex accounting operations, internal controls, and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 0–1 years of experience, and proficiency with Excel; NetSuite experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and report financial data to support business operations and regulatory requirements.
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Support the development, documentation, and maintenance of internal controls.
• Collaborate with external auditors, internal stakeholders, and third-party service providers.
• Participate in system enhancement, testing, and implementation projects related to financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
