Job summary

AHSG is seeking a Sr. Accountant in Edmond, OK to lead advanced accounting tasks, support month-end close, and improve financial reporting accuracy. The role partners with Finance, Payroll, Billing, Operations, and leadership to ensure data integrity and efficient accounting operations.

Qualified candidates have 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems such as Intacct or QuickBooks; CPA or progress toward CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; not required if offset by equivalent experience
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience and strong GAAP knowledge
• Experience supporting month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting

Responsibilities

• Own data preparation and reconciliation for Trio/staffing business
• Support month-end close and financial reporting accuracy
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows and tracking systems
• Cross-train on accounts payable and vendor setup to provide coverage
