Ignite Human Capital LLC in Inland Empire, CA seeks a Staff Accountant to own core accounting tasks across the general ledger, AP, financial reporting, and compliance. This on-site, full-time role reports to the Controller and offers exposure to the full accounting cycle with interaction with senior finance leadership.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and 3+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and great attention to detail to meet

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 3+ years of accounting experience (internships included).
• Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Working knowledge of GAAP.
• Strong Excel skills and quick system learning.
• Detail-oriented, meets close deadlines independently.
• Analytical mindset to investigate variances.
• Clear communication with finance and non-finance teams.
• Confidential financial information handling.
• Able to work on-site full-time in Chino, CA.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and post journal entries and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts as part of the monthly close.
• Prepare the balance sheet, income statement, and supporting schedules for management.
• Research discrepancies and variances, identify the root cause, and recommend corrective action.
• Review and maintain AP general ledger coding in Concur, prepare and issue vendor payments, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Support accounts receivable and collections, including payment follow-up and account reconciliation.
• Audit supporting documentation in preparation for internal reviews and the external audit.
• Recommend improvements to accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Monitor federal, state, and local financial requirements and advise management on needed actions.
• Prepare special and ad hoc reports, analyzing account activity and trends.
• Serve as an accounting resource to other departments.
