Job summary

Creative Chaos is hiring a Staff Accountant to support our finance team with accurate financial records, reporting, and general financial management. The role emphasizes detail-oriented accounting tasks, bank reconciliations, payroll processing, and month-end accruals, with a preference for US-client experience.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, at least 3 years of accounting experience, and familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably with US clients.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with QuickBooks or other similar accounting software is a plus.
• CPA or other relevant certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day banking and credit card transactions accurately.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Enter general journal entries as needed.
• Reconcile vendor and customer statements.
• Record month-end accruals and payroll transactions.
• Maintain prepaid expense schedules and fixed assets register.
• Reconcile inventory records with counts and adjust as needed.
• Generate 1099 data for review.
