Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting.
• Experience with month-end close, general ledger, reconciliations, fixed assets and accruals.
• Ability to manage and supervise accounting staff and meet deadlines.
• Experience with Financial Reporting, Month-end Close, and Variance Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely processing of all transactions.
• Ensure clients are accurately invoiced in a timely manner for work delivered and expenses incurred.
• Maintain the general ledger, including reconciling accounts, taxes and preparing journal entries.
• Cultivate the accounting team by managing performance, providing training, and setting goals.
• Participate in audits and reconciliations of financial records as needed.
• Ensure all major projects, month-end, and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.
• Assist the accounting team with contacting clients to follow up on past-due invoices.

• Previous experience with Financial Reporting, Month-end Close, and Variance Analysis.
