Career Team is seeking a Staff Accountant to coordinate and analyze financial and cost information for the company and its grants/contracts. You will serve as the fiscal partner to Executive Directors, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality while handling invoicing, project forecasts, and financial reporting.

This role supports audit deliverables, month-end closings, and government contract monitoring, with opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3+ years of experience handling US government contracts is a plus.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and ability to reconcile balance sheets and P&L reports.

Aufgaben

• Invoicing, reporting project financial status, and managing project forecasts.
• Prepare and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and working capital.
• Monitor government contracts and restricted funding for full utilization.
• Process employee expenses and vendor invoices; analyze payroll data.
• Assist month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations and supporting audits.
