Job summary

Gateway Group Personnel is seeking a Staff Accountant to support a multi-entity environment with accurate general ledger accounting, timely financial reporting, and disciplined account reconciliations in Memphis.

You will prepare monthly statements, manage owner reporting, work order billing, credit card programs, and month-end close, while collaborating on audits, taxes, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Three or more years of general ledger accounting and financial statement preparation experience.
• Strong reconciliation, analytical, and month-end close skills.
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to work accurately across multiple entities and recurring deadlines.
• Property management, real estate, or multi-entity accounting experience preferred.
• QuickBooks experience is a significant plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements, supporting schedules, and assigned owner reporting.
• Perform general ledger accounting, journal entries, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Manage bookkeeping and financial reporting for assigned third-party properties and other assigned entities.
• Administer work order billing and related accounting processes.
• Administer all employee credit card programs, including transaction review, coding, documentation, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Support audit, tax, process improvement, and special projects as assigned.
