Job summary

LBMC Staffing Solutions, LLC is seeking a full-time staff accountant for a confidential Business Management Organization in Nashville. The role includes processing accounts payable and receivable, preparing journal entries, and performing month-end close.

You will reconcile accounts, prepare 1099s and various tax work papers for multiple entities, and contribute to timely financial reporting. Excellent communication and Excel skills are essential; prior QuickBooks experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Entry level up to 2+ years of experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate or Advanced Excel skills preferred.
• Experience with QuickBooks a plus.
• Ability to work calmly and prioritize workload.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain reports for department and management use.
• Review financial information and develop spreadsheets to analyze data.
• Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
• Process accounts payable for multiple entities.
• Process accounts receivable for multiple entities.
• Answer accounting and financial questions by researching data.
• Manage documents using a paperless filing system.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.
• Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Perform month end close of assigned entities.
• Prepare 1099s, sales tax returns, business tax returns, and tax work papers for multiple entities.
