The role collaborates with the Finance Director to ensure accurate financial reporting, internal controls, and efficient processes across multiple entities. 4–6 years of accounting experience and a solid understanding of accruals, reconciliations, and close procedures are ideal for this mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting and close processes.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting and audits is preferred.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post routine journal entries, including accruals and reclassifications.
• Maintain accurate general ledger activity across multiple entities.
• Perform monthly bank, balance sheet, and account reconciliations.
• Support accounts payable/receivable processes to ensure timeliness.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities and schedules.
• Help with internal financial statements and variance explanations.
