Job summary

Progress Residential in Scottsdale seeks a Senior Accountant to support month-end close, ensure accurate period recording, and assist the corporate accounting team with complex tasks. The role interfaces with multiple departments to provide timely financial information and support.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of accounting experience, a relevant degree, and strong Excel skills; CPA is a plus. Yardi experience and ERP software proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• 3–5 years accounting experience preferred.
• CPA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in month-end close processes and ensure accurate period recording.
• Provide supporting schedules and analysis for internal/external audits.
• Develop and maintain methods, models and workflows for shared expenses allocation.
• Draft accounting policies and drive process improvements, including automation.
• Support monthly management reporting and ad hoc financial analyses.
