Job summary

Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our General Accounting Cash Team in Baltimore, MD. You will prepare journal entries, perform account analyses, bank reconciliations, and support the month-end close, audits, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of general ledger accounting experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products with strong Excel skills.
• Experience with a general ledger system.
• Experience with Blackline or other reconciliation software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the monthly close process, ensuring all reporting deliverables are completed on schedule.
• Prepare journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly work papers, bank and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Partner with finance and operational teams to resolve accounting issues.
• Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
• Take ownership of your work and seek continuous improvement opportunities.
