Job summary

City Rise Safety, LLC is seeking a Staff Accountant to manage general ledger activities, month-end close, intercompany reconciliations, and related reporting. The role requires meticulous detail and the ability to work cross-functionally across departments in a busy construction safety services firm.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 3–5 years of experience, proficiency with Sage Intacct or similar software, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting, finance, and payroll experience.
• Construction industry or professional services industry experience preferred.
• Experience using Sage Intacct, Sage, or similar accounting software.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• General Ledger
• Month End closing and account reconciliations for four separate entities
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Manual Accounts Receivable and Customer rebate accruals
• Prepaid Expenses
• Fixed Assets
• Accrued Liabilities

• Personal Property Taxes
• Prepare monthly P&L and other reporting as assigned
• Assistance on Audits (financial statements, Sales & Use Tax, insurance, customer, union and others).
