EGGER North America is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting activities and accurate financial reporting. The role includes journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end close support, fixed asset accounting, and tax data preparation.

Based in Lexington, NC with a full-time schedule, you will collaborate with the accounting team, follow controls, and contribute to process improvements while expanding accounting knowledge and technical skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred, or equivalent experience).
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Familiarity with fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and capitalization.
• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting; familiarity with SAP or Oracle.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with month-end close and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and investigate discrepancies.
• Support intercompany transactions and fixed asset accounting.
• Compile tax data for income tax provisions and filings.
• Assist with sales and use tax data analysis and filings.
• Support lease accounting and annual capital budget tracking.
• Maintain documentation, close checklists, and SOPs.
• Suggest process improvements and automation opportunities.
