EGGER Group in North America seeks a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting and accurate financial reporting through journal entries, reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, and tax data preparation. You will work with the accounting team, follow controls, and help improve processes.

The role requires 1–3 years of accounting experience, a Bachelor’s in accounting or related field, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with SAP or Oracle.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree preferred or compensatory related work experience.
• Experience preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with ERP software such as SAP or Oracle.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with the month-end close to support timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and account reconciliations; research and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with reconciling and recording intercompany transactions.
• Support fixed asset accounting, including depreciation and capitalization.
• Compile tax data for annual income tax provision and filings.
• Assist with sales/use tax data analysis and submission for compliance.
• Support lease accounting activities and related schedules.
• Track annual capital budget spending and document controls.
• Maintain accounting documentation, closing checklists, and SOPs.
• Contribute to process improvement and automation within accounting functions.
• Provide information for audits and other finance activities.
