Job summary

Lee Hecht Harrison Nederland B.V. seeks a Staff Accountant in Tualatin, OR for an on-site contract role. The position reports to the Controller and focuses on general ledger, financial reporting, and month-end close in a growth-oriented construction environment.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with major ERP systems. On-site schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years of accounting experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
• Construction-industry accounting experience preferred; exposure to ERP systems required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries; maintain the general ledger.
• Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts monthly.
• Conduct variance analysis; assist with month-end and year-end close.
• Support financial statements, management reports, and audits.
• Ensure GAAP/SOX compliance and proper internal controls.
