Job summary

OUTFRONT Media is seeking a motivated accounting professional in New Jersey to join our finance team. This role supports month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with Accounting, Finance and Corporate groups to perform intercompany reconciliations, capex processing, and assist external auditors. Strong Excel, analytical skills, and confidentiality are essential; prior Ceridian/Oracle experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years finance/accounting experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong Excel skills
• Prior experience with compensation and benefit accounting
• Ability to maintain highly confidential compensation-related information
• Experience with Ceridian and Oracle Accounting Software a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
• Strong organizational skills, ability to handle details and the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong team player and who can work independently

Responsibilities

• Month-end close journal entries - primarily prepaids, accruals, intercompany Account reconciliations
• Daily capex processing and project reconciliations
• Perform SOX testing
• Research and provide supporting documentation for account variances.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements
• Assist in the preparation and documentation provided to external auditors
• Recommend process improvements and efficiencies
