OUTFRONT Media in New Jersey is seeking a motivated accounting professional to join our Finance team. This role supports month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting, reporting to the Accounting Manager and collaborating with Accounting, Finance and Corporate groups.

The position emphasizes accuracy and confidentiality, with responsibilities spanning prepaids, accruals, intercompany reconciliations, SOX testing, and preparation for external auditors.

Qualifications

• 1+ years finance/accounting experience, public and/or private.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Prior experience with compensation and benefit accounting.
• Ability to maintain highly confidential compensation-related information.
• Experience with Ceridian and Oracle Accounting Software a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to handle details and the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong team player and who can work independently.

Responsibilities

• Month-end close journal entries - primarily prepaids, accruals, intercompany Account reconciliations
• Daily capex processing and project reconciliations
• Perform SOX testing
• Research and provide supporting documentation for account variances.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements

Job Summary:

OUTFRONT Media is looking for a highly motivated individual looking to take on a challenging role. This is an exciting accounting position with a diverse set of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. This position will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will have an opportunity to work with the Accounting, Finance and Corporate groups. Responsibilities include supporting the team in various functions of the month-end close, analysis and reconciliations of accounts.

The salary range for this role is $65,000 -70,000. Compensation is determined during our interview process by assessing a candidate's experience and skills relative to internal peers and market benchmarks evaluated for the scope and responsibilities of the position.
