Job summary

OUTFRONT Media is seeking a talented accounting professional to support month-end close, capex processing, and intercompany reconciliations in a fast-paced environment.

The role reports to the Accounting Manager and collaborates with Accounting, Finance, and Corporate teams. Requirements include 1+ years of finance experience and strong Excel capabilities; compensation/benefit accounting experience is a plus.

Job Summary

OUTFRONT Media is looking for a highly motivated individual looking to take on a challenging role. This is an exciting accounting position with a diverse set of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. This position will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will have an opportunity to work with the Accounting, Finance and Corporate groups.

Responsibilities

• Month-end close journal entries – primarily prepaids, accruals, intercompany Account reconciliations
• Daily capex processing and project reconciliations
• Perform SOX testing
• Research and provide supporting documentation for account variances.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements
• Assist in the preparation and documentation provided to external auditors
• Recommend process improvements and efficiencies

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ years finance/accounting experience, public and/or private
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong Excel skills
• Prior experience with compensation and benefit accounting
• Ability to maintain highly confidential compensation-related information
• Experience with Ceridian and Oracle Accounting Software a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
• Strong organizational skills, ability to handle details and the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong team player and who can work independently

Salary

The salary range for this role is $65,000 -70,000. Compensation is determined during our interview process by assessing a candidate’s experience and skills relative to internal peers and market benchmarks evaluated for the scope and responsibilities of the position. Please note that the foregoing compensation information is a good-faith assessment associated with this position only and is provided pursuant to the corresponding New Jersey Salary Transparency Law.
