Job summary

Four Seasons Naples Beach Club is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the Assistant Director of Finance in maintaining the general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations. This role requires strong Excel skills, a GAAP background, and leadership capabilities within a hotel environment.

You will oversee payroll, accounts payable, and cashiering, work with department heads to forecast budgets, and help uphold internal controls and timely financial reporting across the resort.

Qualifications

• College education or equivalent experience is required.
• 2-5 years of experience with a Finance Department, preferably within a hotel.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and corporate policies and procedures.
• Strong Excel and computer skills; Sun, iScala and Opera knowledge valued.
• Strong leadership, strategic and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise payroll, accounts payable, and general cashiering under the Assistant Director of Finance.
• Maintain harmonious relationships with all departments and Home Office.
• Assist internal controls to safeguard assets and resources of the hotel.
• Forecasting/Budgeting with Department Heads and aid in labor budgeting.
• Prepare and review Daily Business Reports and labor standard verifications.
• Meet with Division and Department Heads to establish labor standards and review variances.
