Job summary

TRISTAR INC is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, AP/AR, and reporting. You will assist with month-end close, audits, and special projects as part of a dynamic finance team.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in accounting with 2+ years of experience, proficiency in MS Excel, and familiarity with Deltek Costpoint or SAP Concur is a plus. U.S. citizenship may be required for DoD-related tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in accounting or related field with 2 years of related experience, or an associate's with 4 years.
• CPA certification is a plus and preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain General Ledger, prepare journal entries, and reconcile accounts.
• Reconcile bank statements and support treasury duties as needed.
• Act as first line of support for AP/AR and billing processes.
• Support month-end close, audits, and special projects.
• Prepare and analyze financial data and reports
