Job summary

Savings Bank in New York is seeking a Junior Staff Accountant to join the team. You will record journal entries, reconcile accounts and assist with month-end closing and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Record journal entries and prepare account reconciliations.
• Assist in month end closing, financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Prepare assigned quarterly Call Report schedules.
• Analyze monthly financial statements and operational reporting for the bank and subsidiaries.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Maintain fixed asset accounting and depreciation tracking.
• Manage lease accounting, including new leases and schedules.
• Process monthly rent invoices and rent accruals.
