The Association for Individual Development (AID) in Elgin, IL seeks a Staff Accountant to support monthly close, GL analysis, program allocations, and reconciliations. Proficiency with Sage Intacct is preferred, and you will collaborate with A/P, A/R, and HUD staff to ensure accurate reporting.

This full-time role involves preparing monthly statements, bank reconciliations, audit support, and learning all phases of the Finance Department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience with computerized accounting systems; Sage Intacct preferred.

Responsabilités

• Proficiency in all modules of Sage Intacct and all phases of monthly accounting cycle.
• Perform month-end close, journal entries, account analysis, A/P, A/R, and fixed asset reports.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reconciliations; assist AID staff and auditors.
