Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am- 5pm

What work will you perform?

This position is responsible for consolidated financial reporting for actual, budget and forecast, drafting and review of SEC filings, internal management reporting and regulatory filings. The position also oversees equity accounting and processes.

  • Manages consolidation accounting including software management, consolidation entries, and reporting for actual, budget, and forecasting
  • Prepares internal consolidated reports: debt compliance reporting; audit packages; ad hoc, variance narratives and PowerPoints for management
  • Prepares various peer group consolidated comparatives
  • Drafts and validates SEC consolidation documents for 8K, 10Q and 10K filings
  • Coordinates with Finance, Payroll, Legal, Tax and Treasury on equity activity
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Minimum Experience and Education:

  • 4 years of experience in accounting
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in accounting or equivalent experience

Preferred Experience and Education:

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of consolidation software and reporting

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cyclical overtime requirements
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail, timeliness and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a high production environment and respond quickly and effectively under pressure, changing priorities and tight timelines
  • Ability to work independently to make well-reasoned and timely decisions
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive material in a confidential manner
