TactEx Recruitment Advisors is a recruiting company, and we're working on behalf of a Client Firm who's looking for a talented and high-character Staff Accountant I(Private Accounting role).

As the Staff Accountant I, you will offer hands-on accounting support for the Client's Firm. Their Firm was founded in 2012, and they've been a leader in the Commercial Real Estate Investment space.

Pay range: $26-$28/hr (equivalent of ~$54k-58k salary).

Location: 100% Remote.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the general ledger, prepare journal entries, process accounts payables, bank deposits, and bank reconciliations.
• Complete monthly preparation and review of financial statements and reports, ensuring they are complete and accurate.
• Process accounts payable such as company expenses, loan payments and any other invoices received.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate any variances and reconciling items.
• Preparation of ACH/Wire transfers.
• Process and record weekly commission payments.
• Work with the Investor Relations department to prepare investor statement requests.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience and knowledge of general accounting.
• 1+ years’ work experience in accounting or finance.
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning financials.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail oriented and strong interpersonal skills.
• Well versed with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
