Job summary

Turn2Partners, an established investment management organization in McLean, VA, seeks a Staff Accountant with 1–4 years of accounting experience to join its growing team. The role offers hybrid work (3 onsite/2 remote) and a path toward professional growth.

You will handle general ledger duties, month-end close, and financial reporting while gaining exposure to SEC reporting, real estate accounting, and SOX compliance in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or real estate/property accounting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Experience with general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Ability to analyze and communicate financial information clearly.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and disbursements.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly close processes and financial reporting.
• Prepare depreciation, amortization, capex, and straight-line rent schedules.
• Assist with SEC filings, audits, and SOX-related documentation.
• Collaborate with external auditors and accounting leadership.
