Job summary

Frederick Health Hospice is seeking an accounting professional to support the monthly financial statements and annual audits for Frederick Health and subsidiaries. The role includes recording GL transactions, cash reconciliations, and coordinating electronic fund transfers.

The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with large enterprise financial systems. Maryland hospital experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the preparation of the monthly financial statements for Frederick Health and subsidiaries.
• Participates in compiling and preparing deliverables for annual audit of financial statements.
• Record and post general ledger transactions, including cash receipts, pharmacy transactions, and refunds.
• Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of cash, bank, and credit accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Process and coordinate electronic fund transfers.
• Coordinate and reconcile virtual payable program.
