Enumerate is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team and support HOA/COA clients with precise financial statements and reconciliations. This hands-on role involves bank reconciliations, preparing monthly statements, and contributing to the close process.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of Staff Accountant experience, a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, and proficiency with accounting software. Property management accounting experience is a bonus and accuracy is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Staff Accountant.
• Experience with creating financial statements, general ledger functions and month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations for associations with multiple bank accounts.
• Prepare and issue financial statements for associations.
• Prepare supporting schedules including accrued and prepaid expenses.
• Complete quality assurance checklist before issuance of financials.
• Update cover memo to financials with essential items of note for current month.
• Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.
• Maintain accounting controls through policies and procedures.
• Research and respond to inquiries related to financial statements.
• Reconcile discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Direct participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end close process.
