Care Partners At Home in Irvine, CA is seeking a Staff Accountant to manage financial records, reconciliations, and payroll-related tasks in a fast-paced home care environment. The role emphasizes accuracy, GAAP compliance, and collaboration with Billing and external auditors.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, 2–4+ years of experience, and proficiency in QuickBooks Online.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA, CPA candidate, or CB certification preferred.
• 2-4+ years of progressive accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Healthcare or home care accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Experience managing full-cycle AP, AR, and payroll.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) required.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
• Experience with Paycor, AlayaCare, or similar payroll/healthcare software preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP, financial statements, tax regulations, and accounting best practices.
• Experience with payroll system integrations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and reconciliations.
• Manage full-cycle AP and AR processes.
• Reconcile payroll and bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
• Process invoices, vendor payments, and support payroll administration.
• Reconcile AR data from AlayaCare and ensure accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with Billing to verify and post client payments.
• Generate and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income, cash flow).
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Support accounting system integrations (Paycor, AlayaCare, QBO).
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
