Job summary

Canyon Equities, the holding company for the Custer, Inc. family, is seeking a Staff Accountant to provide essential accounting support across multiple entities.

This role reports to the Corporate Controller and offers exposure to month-end close, financial reporting, AR, AP, intercompany transactions, and asset management. The ideal candidate has a BA in accounting, 3–5 years of experience, and ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• 3-5 years’ experience in an accounting role.
• Experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Experience with the month-end close process.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Close & financial reporting, consolidate results.
• Accounts receivable: invoicing, payments, reconciliations.
• Accounts payable: vendor invoices, payments, reconciliations.
• Intercompany & asset management: transactions and fixed assets.
• Payroll, inventory & compliance: payroll reconciliation and controls.
