Job summary

SAFE Boats International, Bremerton, WA, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. The role focuses on AP, AR, GL, and month-end close with strong attention to detail and timely financial reporting.

Qualified candidates have an accounting degree (or 5+ years AP/AR), GAAP knowledge, and experience with ERP systems. This in‑person role offers a competitive benefits package and a four‑10 hour work week.

Qualifications

• Associates or bachelor’s degree in accounting or 5+ years performing accounts payable and/or accounts receivable is required (manufacturing experience desirable).
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting practices.
• Experience using ERP accounting software and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions with accuracy.
• Assist month‑end close, accruals, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Maintain vendor and customer records and support audits.
