Job summary

Live Nation in Austin, TX is seeking a Staff Accountant to support project, balance sheet and general ledger accounting for multiple events and properties.

You will prepare financial statements, process artist payments by wire/ACH/check, and collaborate with AP/AR to ensure timely recording and reconciliation.

This full-time, temporary role requires 2+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and attention to detail, with flexibility for nights/weekends during major projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 2+ years industry accounting experience.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Self-motivated with integrity and problem-solving mindset.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends during major projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare artist payments via wire, ACH, or check.
• Manage payment, tracking, and approval of all property- and show-related invoices.
• Complete month-end close, including P&L statements and journal entries.
• Reconcile checks and wires monthly with Accounting Manager.
• Assist AP/AR to ensure receivables, receipts, and payables are processed accurately.
• Prepare and pay monthly and quarterly taxes.
• Maintain accounting files and provide audit support.
• Perform other accounting functions as assigned.
