Job summary

Ascendo Resources is partnering with a private aviation company in Orlando undergoing significant startup-style growth. The Staff Accountant will manage day-to-day journal entries, bank and GL reconciliations, and AR/AP activities, with heavy use of QuickBooks and Accounting Seed.

Qualifications

• 1+ accounting experience; ideal 3–5 years
• Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail
• People skills are key; comfortable with franchise owners and customers
• This is not a typical back-office bean counter role; communication and follow-through matter

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day journal entries
• Bank, GL, and account reconciliations
• AR/AP reconciliations as needed
• Reconcile franchise payments and other operational activity
• Heavy use of QuickBooks
• Use Accounting Seed (Salesforce) for reporting and financial statements
• Partner with outside CPA firm for month-end close and financials
