Job summary

Teal, Becker & Chiaramonte CPAs, P.C. is seeking a Staff Accountant to support accounting, auditing and tax engagements for privately held businesses, non-profits and individuals.

You will perform routine assignments under supervision, assist with fieldwork, prepare financial statements and tax returns, and contribute to client service and teamwork in a deadline-driven office environment. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or closely related field; CPA track preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Integrity and confidentiality required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounting, auditing, tax and consulting services across engagements.
• Perform fieldwork procedures and analytics; prepare financial statements.
• Prepare federal and state income tax returns for corporate, individual, partnership, fiduciary, trusts, estates and non-profits.
• Prepare any other governmental filings as necessary; basic bookkeeping and reconciliations.
• Develop communication with internal teams, management and clients.
