Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain client books, categorize transactions, journal entries, and general ledger.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Assist with tax filings and compliance documentation.
• Assist with sales tax return preparation and filings.
• Support tax engagements for partnerships, corporations, trusts, and estates.
• Gatjer client documents, follow up on missing information, and maintain organized workpapers.
