Job summary

Artisan Design Group (ADG) is expanding its accounting and finance team in Boynton Beach, FL, seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to support monthly financial analysis, budgeting, and cost reporting.

The role will involve preparing entries, bank reconciliations, and supporting audits while serving as the first point of contact for accounting issues. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential; proficiency with Excel and accounting software is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent work experience).
• 2 to 5 years’ experience in accounting or related field.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and accounting software.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Able to read and understand technical forms and financial reports.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounting-related entries to numerous registers, journals, and logs.
• Follow our company’s established accounting processes.
• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.
• Provide detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions.
• Prepare documentation for external auditors.
• Prepare sales and use tax returns and other government filings.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
