Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 2–3+ years of accounting experience with exposure beyond primarily accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Experience supporting multiple entities strongly preferred.
• Experience working within a robust ERP or accounting system beyond QuickBooks.
• Solid understanding of journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and general ledger accounting.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Positive, collaborative attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Organized and detail-oriented, with the confidence to ask questions and take ownership of assigned work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals across approximately five entities.
• Complete bank reconciliations for multiple accounts.
• Manage full-cycle accounts payable for one entity.
• Support accounts receivable, including cash application across multiple projects and entities and reconciliation of customer statements.
• Own corporate credit card and P-card processes, including expense review, receipt verification, and approval follow-up.
• Maintain fixed asset records, including additions, rollforwards, and depreciation calculations.
• Perform actual-to-budget analysis and assist with financial statement review.
• Support month-end close and other general ledger accounting activities.
• Take on additional accounting responsibilities as experience and familiarity with the organization grow.
