Carl Buddig and Company is hiring a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, daily batch posting in D365, and month-end close activities. The role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post routine journal entries, accruals, reclasses, and other adjustments in accordance with GAAP.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Post daily batches in D365 and support AP activities.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and related reporting.
