Job summary

OSC Global is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting, maintain the general ledger, and assist with month-end close in a government contracting context. The role emphasizes compliance with GAAP, CAS, FAR, and DCAA requirements for labor allocations and project costing.

The candidate should have a finance or accounting degree with relevant government contracting experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 1+ year in government contracting or public accounting.
• CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred; active progress okay.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations and schedules.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
• Maintain general ledger and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and government contracting standards.
• Support DCAA audits and financial statement audits.
