Job summary

API Heat Transfer is seeking a Staff Accountant to support our manufacturing operations through financial analysis, inventory and cost accounting, and process improvements. You will partner with operations, supply chain, and finance to drive accurate reporting and informed decision-making.

The role emphasizes month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and continuous improvement within a global manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Associate degrees in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Manufacturing and cost accounting experience preferred.
Strong proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
Support inventory accounting, cycle counts, and physical inventory processes.
Analyze inventory, labor, material, and overhead variances.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
Prepare financial analyses and management reports.
Support internal and external audits and maintain compliance with GAAP.
Maintain ERP accounting data and support process improvements.
Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to improve financial performance.
Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
