Key tasks include journal entries, reconciliations, balance sheet integrity and collaboration with Tax and Retail Accounting teams. 3+ years accounting experience in retail/luxury is preferred, with GAAP proficiency and a proactive attitude.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• 3+ years accounting experience; Retail/Luxury experience is a plus.
• SAP experience preferred; strong Excel skills; comfortable learning new systems and technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to anticipate workloads and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and eagerness to address discrepancies.

Aufgaben

• Perform general accounting and related duties.
• Assist in month end closing activities.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals and adjusting entries.
• Reconcile select General Ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies to reduce issues.
• Reconcile bank accounts, verify deposits, and address bank inquiries.
• Reconcile cash disbursement accounts, payroll and other financial accounts.
• Assist in audits with requested information and documentation.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Retail Accounting and Tax teams.
• Support Senior Accounting Manager and VP of Finance with ad-hoc projects.
