The Harlem Globetrotters are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join the Finance team. This role supports accurate financial reporting and partners across the organization to ensure transactions are recorded, reconciled, and processed effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–5 years of general ledger or related accounting experience.

Responsabilités

• Prepare accurate and timely daily, weekly, and monthly journal entries.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and research and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain prepaid and accrued balances, including related amortization schedules.
• Review and process accounts payable invoices, P-card transactions, and monthly expense reports.
• Review and process venue settlements and related revenue activity.
• Research accounting issues, determine appropriate corrections, and make recommendations as needed.
• Evaluate accounting processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, effectiveness, and compliance.
• Partner with internal teams and external contacts to provide timely and professional support.
• Assist with ad hoc financial projects and other accounting responsibilities as assigned.
