Job summary

Tecumseh Products Company is seeking an accounting/treasury professional to support month-end close, journal entries and reconciliations, and treasury schedules. You will help coordinate external audits and regional reporting while collaborating across locations.

The role requires an undergraduate degree in accounting or finance and at least one year of experience. Proficiency with Excel/Office and Oracle/BPC knowledge are preferred; travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 1 year experience.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the general accounting function, including inter-company accounting, cash management/reconciliation, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
• Assists in closing monthly financial records of all locations and consolidation of all locations.
• Involved in validating/designing changes to general ledger system to meet accounting requirements.
• Supports various accounting and cross-functional projects as needed.
• Participates in external reporting, including drafting footnotes and support.
• Assists with external audits by gathering supporting documents.
• Assists with risk management including insurance data and reconciliations.
• Gathers regional data and analyzes hedging positions for strategy, accounting, and reporting.
• Reports foreign exchange and key commodity rates weekly.
• Develops ad hoc reports and completes special assignments.
• Handles multiple tasks with organization and control.
