Job summary

Case Systems and BOSTONtec in Midland, MI seeks a Senior Accountant to lead payroll, billing, AR, and general ledger tasks. You will support month-end close, reconciliations, and ERP-related improvements while ensuring compliance and accuracy. A manufacturing background is highly valued, with no relocation offered.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, 5+ years of experience, and strong Excel/ERP skills. You will collaborate with the Accounting Supervisor and other departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years of progressive accounting experience; manufacturing background preferred.
• Strong understanding of general accounting, GL, month-end close, AR, and payroll.
• Proficient with payroll, tax compliance, and accounting controls.
• Solid ERP aptitude and advanced Excel skills; ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments; willingness to overtime.

Responsibilities

• Credit, AR and Billing: issue invoices, collect, and resolve discrepancies.
• Payroll: administer payroll, deductions, and compliance.
• General Accounting: month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries.
• AP support, audits, and cash management involvement.
• ERP/process improvement and cross-functional project participation.
