Job summary

Transdev North America is seeking a Staff Accountant to manage daily receivable transactions and maintain the monthly general ledger. The role provides essential support for accounting processes and financial reporting.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years of accounting experience, with strong Excel and MS Office skills. It offers a hybrid work arrangement and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with MS Office products.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of JD Edwards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Organize monthly general ledger activity for input into the accounting system.
• Monitor account balances and make necessary adjustments; prepare journal entries.
• Prepare and process documentation for internal and external auditors.
• Identify and investigate problems with the accounting system as needed.
• Work closely with the field to ensure accuracy of accounting information.
• Prepare income and balance sheet statements and other reports for submission.
