Job summary

Transdev North America is seeking a finance professional to compile and analyze financial information, ensuring accurate recording and timely reporting. You will prepare month-end close entries and support variance analysis to drive corrective actions.

Key responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, client invoicing, and training operations teams on financial processes, with travel around 10%. The role offers a hybrid work model and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent required.
• CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• 4-7 years of experience in finance and/or accounting.
• Proficiency in Excel and ability to learn additional systems quickly; knowledge of Oracle/JD Edwards and Hyperion preferred.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounting entries for month end close.
• Support Finance Lead with variance analysis and root-cause investigation.
• Publish recurring reports to highlight areas of concern.
• Provide financial support and analysis to finance and operations leaders.
• Assist with annual budget, bid model/pricing, and forecasting processes.
• Support training of operations teams on financial processes.
