Job summary

The Staff Accountant role involves preparing financial reports, journal entries, and reconciliations to track assets, liabilities, P&L, and tax obligations in a fast-paced gaming environment.

Experience with GAAP and Excel is essential, as is the ability to work with accounting software and collaborate with auditors.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting (US GAAP).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• One to three years of accounting/finance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains confidentiality of privileged information per policy and state regulations.
• Analyzes and summarizes accounting data; posts timely and accurate general ledger entries.
• Supports daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting to ensure GAAP compliance.
• Reconciles bank accounts and prepares journal entries for general ledger/sub-systems.
• Assists external auditors by gathering account information and documents for audits.
