Churchill Downs Incorporated is seeking a Staff Accountant in New Orleans to support the preparation of financial reports, tracking assets, liabilities, and P&L. The role requires accuracy and timely reporting within GAAP and regulatory guidelines.

You will assist with journal entries, financial statements, and management reports, working closely with the Finance team in a busy casino-entertainment environment. A bachelor’s degree in accounting and 1+ year of experience are required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• At least one year of accounting or finance experience.
• Ability to obtain racing and gaming licenses (Louisiana).

Responsabilidades

• Prepares and posts journal entries to the General Ledger and sub-systems.
• Assists with financial statements and management reports.
• Supports GAAP/regulatory reporting cycles and internal controls.
