Families First Pediatrics is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. You will support the general ledger, monthly close, and financial reporting to help maintain accurate records for our pediatric care network.

Based in Utah, this full-time role emphasizes GAAP compliance, accurate account reconciliations, and collaboration with clinic teams to ensure timely financial statements and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least one year of accounting experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively with others.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations as part of the month-end closing process.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records in accordance with GAAP.
• Assist with preparing monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Provide support with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes as needed.
• Assist with audits, budgeting, and other financial analysis projects.
• Work closely with the Finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
